I love my big silicon pastry mat so much that I bought another one for a dear friend of mine who lives several states away and had it shipped to her home. She bakes tons of Christmas cookies every year as well as pies. She also makes her own apple sauce each year so I know her mat is going to get a work out. She told me that she loves her pastry mat just as much as I do mine. I'm looking forward to getting lots of cookies from her come Christmas! These are the 2 best purchases I've made in a while. I make homemade pizza a lot with gluten free flour and that requires the dough to be rolled. The large size of this mat really helps me be able to get the right size. The flour is tapioca based and so it sometimes sticks - but not on this mat. The thickness of the mat should make it last for a very long time. The marked rings make it easy to make the right size.

Bought this after my old one (different brand) got creased and couldn't flatten it out. Even though this comes rolled and folded it opens to lay perfectly flat. I am only using this as a dough mat so haven"t checked it working in my oven, mainly as it won't fit in my oven. Although the size of the mat is stated here online, it is a lot larger than I imagined as my old one was smaller. It does stick nicely to my table where my old one just slid around, and it is thicker also. It does say not to cut on it so you shouldn't be to aggressive if using cookie cutters with it. As this has a soft surface not much pressure will be needed to stamp out cookies. It also cleans up easily with its nonstick surface.

Recieved this product free in exchange for my honest review. I love this mat, wide enough for my baking projects! Easy to clean up my work space when I use this but it's a pain in the butt to actually wash this in my kitchen sink due to the bigger than normal size. But since it does what it's supposed to do, I would definitely reccomend this to anyone.

The best pastry mat I’ve ever purchased honestly. I have tried 5 different ones and this is the first one which sticks to the countertop securely and have the printing not seeping out to the food during kneading.It is HUGE and perfect for what I need.Go get it! You won’t be disappointed.

Silicone Pastry Mat works perfectly.
I didn’t even have to use flower on pie crust. I only use a little on rolling pie and it stayed on the mat and never moved or stick to mat.

My headline says it all, I am in love with this mat. Love the extra large size, also love that it stays where you put it until your ready to remove it but it's also easy to reposition is you need to. It's large enough that I don't have to feel like I'm working with a restricted amount of room. Has every measurement and conversion you can think of as well as cleaning instructions and even oven temps and a dough size chart for everything from tart, pastry dough to pizza. It also has a handy ruler around the outside edge for inches and cm. which makes cutting equal portions fast and easy. All the printing is done in blue on mine and every thing is easy to read at a glance. This mat is reinforced inside the silicon with what looks like a fine mesh material but not sure what the material is and both the tip and the bottom side are nonstick silicone. I will never own any other brand or smaller size silicone pastry mat then this one again. The only con I can find is that it makes a fairly long roll for storing so probably won't fit standard size drawers. I have deep lower cabinets with pull out drawers behind the doors so this won't be a problem for me. I usually hand wash my silicone mats and just hang them up over my kitchen sink to drip dry using a coat hanger and clothes pins before rolling up to store. This method only takes a short time to drip dry and I don't have to worry about dish towel lint sticking to my mat. Remember to roll your mat up starting at the narrow side and don't fold it unless you have no other choice because folding can cause fold lines to form in your mat over time that might keep it from laying flat as you'd want it to. This mat really hold well on my smooth formica countertops but don't know how well it will hold on a rough textured countertop since I have no experience with a rough textured counter top. Always wash your countertops with a damp dish rag the slight moisture will help it hold your mat even tighter. Did I tell you I absolutely love this mat? LOL

This has been great for pie crust and bread dough! I love that it doesn’t slide around on the counter while kneading, and the conversion tables on it are handy! Wish I’d had one dinner!
